Crossbirdz 3v3 Power Rankings - Week 5
Welcome to the third weekly edition of the CrossBirdz 3 v 3 tourney Power Rankings. Please note that Power Rankings do not necessarily reflect a team's current position in the standings, but rather how well they are playing at the moment and their potential strength going forward in the season. What a boring week in the world of Power Rankings! The favorites held serve, and not a single ranking has changed. Let's hope for a more exciting week 5...
#1 (Previous week: #1) - AMBIGUOUSLY GAY TRIO (3-0)
AGT dropped their first round of the season to the Throwbacks on Sub, but trudged on to a 3-1 victory. A very tough test awaits them this week on Ice in the form of BRNGNV. It could be a telling match!
#2 (Previous week: #2) - BACKRAGENOGIBSNOVIVES (2-1)
After a week of rest, the Backragers get ready for an important match on Ice. They were very impressive on Escape, so whether they can carry that mojo into this week remains to be seen.
#3 (previous week: #3) - RINGERS (3-0)
Different week, same story. The Ringers have a great duo on their team. The Ringers won another match. The Ringers haven't dropped a round yet this season. And....what will they do next week? Who will play for them? Who will be available in the playoffs?
#4 (previous week: #4) - BEASTMODE (2-2)
There was no more impressive team the first 2 weeks of the season than Beast Mode, and maybe not one that has been as unimpressive the last 2 weeks. They stand at 2-2 right now, with a pivotal match coming up on Ice. Will we see the dominant version of the team we saw the first 2 weeks, or will Sonic go into Bitch Mode? v55.
#5 (previous week: #5) - V53 STOOGES (2-2)
The Stooges evened their record this week against Team Canada. Like Beast Mode, we'll have to see which version of the team shows up this week on Ice. Can they make a late season push, or will their playoff fortunes be left to the whims of the admins???
#6 (previous week: #6) - THROWBACKS (0-3)
While they did snag a round this week on Sub, the Throwbacks' search for their first match win of the season will continue into week 5. It won't get any easier for them vs. a Ringers team that hasn't dropped a round yet, and that has an arsenal of hand-picked players at its disposal.
#7 (previous week: #7) - CANADA, EH? (0-3)
I don't know what to say. Blame Canada.
